It is the time of year (again): We work out of darkness in the darkness, we feel calm and in the morning we are not getting. And first of all, at first cold we remember: We should pay attention to our household with vitamin D because the deficiency has many health effects on the body, especially the immune system. But sun vitamin is also important for bone, cell growth and good mood. Always with him! But how?
Our body can only partially produce vitamin D. In an insufficient amount. Vitamin D is mainly produced under the influence of UV radiation with cholesterol in the skin. But also foods like fish, liver, eggs, mushrooms, and even dark chocolate can contain vitamin D. Of course, vitamin D supplements are also a possible solution. But does it also bring something to be done in the solarium? And how many hours would it take to prevent the use of vitamin D capsules? We have Dr. Dermatologist Sebastian Reischle stepped out:
Vitamin D: Hormone?
Vitamin D is actually a hormone because it works in the core. The term vitamin has historically been selected a bit from the outbreak, but has become naturalized. It is a powerful energy modulator and a strong anticancer product if the delivery is correct. It modulates many health conditions and can do much more than support osteoporosis.
Can you also take vitamin D on a solarium?
One can already try to achieve metabolic conversion to active vitamin D (1,25 cholecalciferol) by UV rays of sunbathing. However, due to the required dose, the damage to the aging of the skin would be so endangered.
Can vitamin D be taken without vitamin K2?
You can take vitamin D and K2 separately. They are commonly used together because both substances have an excessive effect on osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis. However, there are also sufficient vitamin D deficiencies that do not require K2 and have nothing to do with osteoporosis.
How much time should you spend outside to prevent the use of vitamin D capsules?
The rule is that in the middle of this summer at lunch time, you should expose your skin to sunlight for about two to three hours to make enough vitamin D, you think for one day. At this time of year, you probably will not be able to make up 5% of the requested amount.
How best to take vitamin D outdoors?
Vitamin D is not absorbed by light and sun in the open air but into the intestines. This is then processed first in the kidneys and then again in the skin and so on on the active vitamin D. Since massive hysteria is currently needed in terms of healthy sunlight, it can be assumed that when applying sunblocker, vitamin synthesis D is almost entirely subject. In addition, we have seen an endemic lack of vitamin D in Central Europe, which may be caused by intestinal receptor polymorphism. To overcome this, partial daily doses of 20,000 IU or more are required. Unfortunately, the sun will not help.
