First Sex Sex: Sex is counted as exercise
One of the most common myths is that a nice cracking between the leaves burns as many calories as miles and a half. A study published by PLOS ONE shows that men average 100 calories during sex and women – about 69 calories.
According to scientists, men will burn an average of 4.2 calories per minute, compared with 3.1 calories for women, according to Men's Health magazine. One study estimates that in a six-minute sex man about 30 years will burn only 20 calories, which is only 14 more than just sitting on the couch and watching TV, reported Body + Soul.
The claim that sex can replace sports and exercise is a complete illusion.
Second error: Thousands of squats are needed for perfect punch
Camilla Akerberg assures that there are other ways to achieve the desired stiff neck instead of making thousands of squats.
"One thing is certain: no hundreds of squats are needed," says Australian, who has been avoiding charges for years because of serious back injuries. "It's a great exercise, but for that purpose there are other sufficiently diverse movements."
Third delusion: Daily calories pay off
Permanent daily calorie counting is not healthy, even more so that it sticks to people and does not last long.
Fourth illusion: Eat green vegetables with a total ban on sugar and alcohol
A healthy diet contains a lot of vegetables, but only green does not last, Camilla adds. They believe that a balanced menu of greenery, vegetables, fresh fruit, proteins, healthy fats and good carbohydrates is the key to long-term results.
"If you are too strict and free yourself of sugar and alcohol by keeping it in the green, the most likely result will be the cessation of food and conquest of overeating," said Camilla Ackerberg.
"It is important to have as many raw products as possible in order to avoid processed foods and foods of low nutritional value." Alcohol is acceptable and moderate from time to time – it stimulates hunger, "reminds the expert.
Fifth Delirium: Complete ban of all carbohydrates
