COVID-19 in Ottawa: Ontario reports 31 new cases in the city


Ottawa-Public Health Ontario is reporting 31 new COVID-19 cases in Ottawa on Sunday.

In the province, officials confirmed 19 new cases of COVID-443, marking the seventh straight day that fewer than 500 new cases were reported. No new deaths with COVID-19 were not reported in Ontario in the last 24 hours and 484 current cases are now considered resolved.

Cases continue to vibrate in the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, with 22 new cases reported on Sunday by Public Health Ontario. Hastings Province reported five new cases in Prince Edward, nine new cases in Kingston, Frontenac, Linux and Eddington, and three new cases in Renfrew County.

Non-hero case

Of the 443 new cases reported on COVID-19 in Ontario on Sunday, 288 were in those people who were not fully vaccinated or had non-vaccine vaccination and 155 cases included fully vaccinated people.

Vaccination data for patients in Ontario hospitals and ICUs is not available on Sunday because hospitals do not report hospitals to the province on weekends.
