Confirmed, Alonso will also head to Ericsson for Ericsson. The Spaniard wants Trojkoruna

Fernando Alonso plans to hit the prestigious Motorcycle Trojkorea next year and McLaren plans to launch at the 500-mile race in Indianapolis.

The triumph in the legendary race is the only one missing from the Spanish pilot in the collection. Victory in Monaco in Formula 1 and 24 Hours Endurance in Le Mans has conquered.

Alonso, thirty-seven, reported in August that he ended in F1 after this season. The Triple Crown is his last sporting dream. So far, only Brit Graham Hill managed to win, winning his first Monaco win in 1963, three years later in Indianapolis, and completing the mission in Le Mans in 1972.

"I have always been clear about the importance of Trojkoruna for me: starting in Indianapolis in 2017 was an incredible experience, and deep in my heart I knew I had to go back if I got a chance," he said before the Brazilian Grand Prix today.

In Monaco, the world champion of Formula One doubled in 2006 and 2007, Le Mans succeeded last year in his debut with the Toyota team. He had a good start at last year's Indianapolis race, but due to technical problems, he did not finish it. Another attempt is due on May 26th.

Along with Alons, Sauber Marcus Ericsson announced today his oversea transfer. Twenty-eight-year-old Swede will also be a test and replacement pilot at his current F1 employer.

Ericsson races in Formula 1 for the fifth year, the fourth season behind Sauber. From next year, however, his seat will be experienced by experienced Kimi Räikkönen, who comes from Ferrari. The Swedish driver, who has won nine points this year, moves into a test and reserve pilot.

At IndyCar, Ericsson will be a member of the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team and will drive his No. 7 Honda. Honda number 6 will be vacant after Robert Wickens, who had a heavy accident in August and is paralyzed from his waist. But he hopes he could walk in two years.

"Honda number 6 will remain vacant for Robert Wickens' best newcomer in 2018, when he wants to or will be able to come back," the team said in a statement.
