Long-lasting coffee protects our brain from serious illnesses

Coffee has unimaginable protective features: The coffee awakens us, has an activating effect and stimulates the senses. But not only that! Coffee also has protective features for health.

The risk of dementia, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, can be alleviated by many people's favorite drinks. This is the result of a recent study from Canada. There, researchers at the "Krembil Research Institute" in Toronto announced the results of the study. This was published in Frontiers in Neuroscience.

Controversial Coffee: Healthy or Unhealthy?

Coffee is healthier when it was taken a few years ago. Heigetrnk has always been dehydrated as a disadvantage. But coffee also has many positive aspects: it has, for example, a soothing and activating effect. In addition, coffee can prevent heart disease and Type II diabetes.

These findings are now linked to the results of the Canadian study: Coffee can protect the brain from so-called neurodegenerative diseases. These include, for example, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease.

But care: Too much coffee can cause congestion. This may result, for example, in stomach problems.

Scientists are publishing studies: Ensure that coffee beans cause a shelter

Drinking some coffee is good for brain health. However, this is not due to the caffeine contained, but to substances released during coffee bean spreading. The stronger the variety of coffee, the more positive it has been to so-called Phenylindan compounds that have a protective effect on the brain.

These compounds are responsible for the ability to store and bind less toxic proteins in the brain. Toxic proteins such as tau and beta amyloid proteins are considered to be a source of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.

However, the research team warns against naming panacea coffee for the listed diseases. Findings presented in the study should be considered progress: "This study should show that there are actually ingredients of coffee that are useful in fighting cognitive decline," Dr. Ross Mancini, one of the researchers responsible for team study.
