Russian manufacturer of Ural motorcycles does not intend to lag behind world trends and has created a prototype of its electric motorcycle model, developed jointly with Zero Motorcycles and ICG.
The electric motorcycle is based on the Ural-based CT model of electric motors, batteries and electronic components used by Zero Motorcycles, while the California ICG was responsible for designing and developing the first concept.
The environmentally friendly Ural motorcycle is equipped with a Z-Force electric engine of 45 kilowatts (61 bhp, 110 Nm) and a 19.5 kilowatt-hour battery that can provide an operating range of about 165 km. A prototype built-in charger that lets you take power from the mains and charge up to 95% within 13 hours.
Ural says the electric motorcycle is fast accelerating, but it does not provide accurate data. It is known that the prototype has a maximum speed of 140 km / h, but it is recommended by the manufacturer – 105 km / h.
Let's say Zero Motorcycles offer four models of electric motorcycles, but the legendary Harley-Davidson just introduced his first electric motorcycle.
