More than half of the used cars are registered in Latvia this year from 11 to 29 years old.

According to data compiled by the Auto Association, 40415 new cars were registered in Latvia in the first nine months of this year, 58% or 23,739 vehicles were 11 to 29 years old.

In turn, 17 or 6949 cars were aged between five and seven years, 13 or 5,155 cars were between the ages of five and seven, 10 or 40,448 vehicles were between one and four years old. During that time, 294 cars were older than 30 years, but at least – 194 vehicles – were less than a year old.

Of the 5,515 vehicles registered in September, 3,390 were between the ages of 11 and 29, 976 were between the ages of 8 and six, 682 were between the ages of five and seven, 575 were aged between one and four. It has already been reported that 40,415 used cars were registered in Latvia in the first nine months of this year, a 21.9% increase compared to the same period last year.

Of these, 5,515 used cars were registered in September 2021, which is 19.4% higher than September 2020.
