At the International Space Station (ISS), computer failure occurred due to software failure.
Computer failure will not adversely affect the operation of other ISS equipment.
"This error will not affect the functioning of the space station," says Roskosmos. At the moment, however, a malfunctioning computer will be needed in the planned docking of an unmanned freighter spacecraft, due to take place on November 15th.
Roskosmos did not say what software error it is, but the replacement of the computer is not supposed to be necessary. The malfunctioning computer should restart on Thursday.
The crew of ISS currently consists of Russian Sergey Prokopiev, American astronaut Serena Maria Auffon-Chancellor and German astronaut Alexander Gerst.
