Chicago, Illinois, November 7. – According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases have been the main cause of death in the last 15 years.
In Mexico alone, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), 141,000 619 people died last year from cardiac deaths.
Ischemic heart disease, had the highest incidence of death from 45 years of age.
Because it is a topic of great interest to different nations, the American Heart Association (American Heart Association) will hold a scientific meeting to discuss the latest progress in tackling this problem.
One of these meetings will be held from 10 to 12 November in Chicago, USA, where health professionals will analyze innovations in the field of cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases.
The discussions will analyze trends in "digital health", healthcare professionals, Silicon Valley CEOs and start-ups, as minds for programs that have an impact in this area.
The six sessions that will be held will show prevention, technology, research and top-notch results, and will include scientists who will be discussing the latest publications on these diseases.
There will also be areas for nurses and other healthcare professionals where new advances will be presented as recommendations that they can implement in their everyday practice.
