Members of the Ministry of the Interior – Border Police Directorate in cooperation with the Customs Administration at the Batrovci border crossing revealed EUR 28,000 suspected of counterfeiting.
The police arrested the Turkish citizens of B. M. (1963) and A. H. (1981) for reasons of suspicion of committing a crime of counterfeiting money.
A money of € 50 was found in the factory cavities of a Renault Megane passenger car.
Upon the order of the relevant prosecutor, the suspects are detained for up to 48 hours, then they will be filed at a state prosecution office in Sremska Mitrovica with a criminal complaint.
